#Skyrim sweetfx realvision mod#
I started to tweak and improve the A first ReShade preset for personal use, a second one, then first ENB, my ENB preset published on Nexus, the second one, third, the mod to.

When I used windows 7 and then upgraded to windows 10 it worked butĪfter I reinstalled windows 10 it stopped working. I rewrote the complete postprocessing of the ENB system, with focus on quality, performance and efficiency. So I guess I was wasting my time by trying to fix it. I don't know the reasons but I manage some presets on Nexus and just have had so many reports about issues with running SweetFX, ENB, and Skyrim with Nvidia on Windows 10 that I have to believe there is a connection -just too many people reporting conflicts with that combination for it to be coincidence. This was second hand information but thought I would share it since it seemed related to your issue. But she, like me and others, also lost the ability to use SweetFX in the process. Once she removed the error (by deleting that dxgi file) the ENB effects started to work again. Silly Level of Detail - Wine Cellar - SLOD WC. Silly Level of Detail - Potions and Poisons - SLOD PnP. SILENT Skyrim - Quieter Interface - No More UI Cartoon Noises. Basically they had gotten an error while running SFX on windows 10 (which they had recently switched to) and had ignored it - and stated it had disabled some of the ENB effect. Or if you have an effect (not enbeffect.fx) file laying with the ENB preset you are using. If you find that the ENBs are too taxing on your system, use RCRN + Ultimate Lighting Overhaul (SweetFX version). I finally had to give up using SFX with windows 10 and Skyrim.ĮDIT: In fact I just dealt with someone this week who had DOF issues just like yours and they felt it was related to the SFX files they were using and a fix they found online. The ones that I recommend are CLENB (is very old but looks superb still), Seasons Of Skyrim, Somber, RealVision and Opethfeldt. I have found 3 people so far, who are using SFX, Nvidia, and Win10, who got it working but most seem to have the issue that it disables the SFX effects. The majority can't get it to work - oh things load find when they delete or rename that file but the end result is SweetFX won't run. I have dealt with a lot of people on this issue. I'm using windows 10.maybe it has something to do with direct xįor many users, but not all, SweetFX, Skyrim (Dx9), and windows 10 with Nvidia won't work. I feel like I need that file to load the sweetfx files Well I deleted dxgi.dll and it worked but the background now looks so blurry. I've tried Realvision to make sure the problem is not caused by my pc! It also works with ENB, so you can use both at the same time. They improves anti-aliasing, bloom, HDR, tonemapping, and even adds new features such as LumaSharpen, Technicplor, Cineon DPX, and more. When I turn of the ENB I can see the sun texture Reshade and SweetFX are post processing tools that tweak and add new features to almost any game, including Skyrim. IBlurDeferredShadowMask=5 (if you use "Ultra" shadows)īut when I'm in the game DOF and the sun do not appear?

Or you could use the C preset and not have to worry about sweetFX, also the C preset does not have sweetFX even in full edition.

It taxes my 970 rig hard.Hello, I have installed Project ENB and also edited the skyrimprefs file Realvision does use sweetFX to make the preset A and B FULL version but you could downgrade to performance A or B edition and have almost the same preset without sweetFX and some other effects. My question is weather I'm doing something wrong, or ENB's are always this intense? Also what would I be able to do to improve the performance? They all provide the look I'm going for, however I feel that their performance hit is quite significant, considering on the realvision page, a 970 is recommended for the full graphics option, yet I dont reach 60 fps with the performance version.Įverything is fine with the gpu, in the sense that it is hitting the correct boost clock of 1270mhz, and the cpu is also running at 4.1ghz. I have tried "Realvision" (the performance option), "Project ENB", and "Natural Lighting and Atmospherics for ENB", and all of them have given me around 40fps, with some dips into the 30s. This was however not the case, as with the ENB's I have tried so far, none of them give what I would call playable fps (60 fps most of the time). I assumed I would have enough headroom for any enb, since only around 30% of the gpus max ability was being used. the gou stays around 900mhz at 50% usage, so the fps is always pegged at 60, except for certain places like cities where the cpu core gets maxed and the fps tanks to 20-30. So my modded version of the game (only around 40 mods), runs quite well on my 780ti at 1440p.
